World No.7 Svetlana Kuznetsova has become the sixth singles player to qualify for the season-ending Sony Ericsson Championships in Doha.
The Russian joins previously qualified Jelena Jankovic, Ana Ivanovic, Dinara Safina, Serena Williams and Elena Dementieva.
Kuznetsova has earned enough race points to qualify by reaching the quarterfinals last week at the Kremlin Cup.
Vera Zvonareva, Venus Williams and Agnieszka Radwanska have the best chances to grab the remaining two spots in the weeks leading to the prestigious Sony Ericsson Championships.
