There were many speculations as to who would be Ana Ivanovic’s new coach, and the latest news is that the Serbian world No. 17 is on a trial with Antonio van Grichen, former coach of Victoria Azarenka and briefly Vera Zvonareva.

Portuguese van Grichen is currently training with Ivanovic and they will be working together through the Australian part of the season. Marija Lojanica will continue to be Ivanovic’s fitness trainer (their cooperation started after Wimbledon 2010). (photo: © Neal Trousdale)

  1. Ana had very good the end of the year but she is GS champion and she can achieve much better results. Unfortunately Gunthardt couldn’t travel and work with Ana the whole year. I hope that cooperation with AVG will be good and that Ana will have successful 2011.
