Maria Kirilenko and Caroline Wozniacki took the streets of Paris in embraces of their boyfriends and ensured a photo proof with the city landmarks adorning the background.
Kirilenko and NHL star Alex Ovechkin hugged in the middle of traffic on the Champs-Élysées with the Arc de Triomphe glowing in the distance. Alex himself shared the photo on Twitter, saying: “Me and Maria in city of LOVE.”
In the first round of Roland Garros, seed No.16 Maria Kirilenko defeated Victoria Larriere 6-1 6-2 and will next face Klara Zakopalova. Kirilenko is also playing women’s doubles with fellow Russian Nadia Petrova. They are seeded seventh.
Wozzilroy visited the Eiffel Tower, and Wozniacki tweeted: “Enjoying a nice evening in front of the Eiffel Tower with @McIlroyRory”. By the way, Wozniacki’s Twitter profile photo pictures her gazing at her golfer boyfriend Rory McIlroy.
Wozniacki, seed nine at Roland Garros 2012, quickly advanced to the second round with a 6-0 6-1 victory over Eleni Daniilidou. The Dane’s next opponent is Jarmila Gajdosova.
