All Maria Sharapova‘s appearances at events are super glamorous, but if we had to pinpoint three occasions when the Russian glamazon looks extra dazzling, the Vanity Fair Oscar Party would definitely make the cut.

Attending the legendary Hollywood soiree for the fifth time, on the night of the Academy Awards in Los Angeles, the tennis and fashion icon arrived at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts wearing a long royal blue studded dress from David Koma’s Spring 2017 collection, Jimmy Choo shoes and clutch, and sparkling jewelry by Anita Ko and Jack Vartanian.

Getting ready

A lot of my favorite Sharapova’s dresses in recent years were created by David Koma, Georgian fashion designer based in London, and this time the Russian worked with several designers before deciding to wear the spaghetti-strap gown with silver disco beading. If you remember, we’ve seen a handful Koma’s dresses at Sugarpova events.

In charge of Sharapova’s makeup at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party was Kara Yoshimoto Bua, while the person behind the elegant twisted bun was well-known Adir Abergel.

I’m always in love with Sharapova’s dresses! Through the years and her rich off-court life, we’ve seen dozens, if not hundreds of dresses and each one of them was spectacular, while they were all completely different from one another. I’m simply amazed by the 29-year-old’s fashion sense — it’s as legendary as Serena Williams’ tennis, not to underestimate Masha’s awe-inspiring career.
