As we’re awaiting the finals, Jimmie48 is bringing us photos of Thursday’s singles & doubles semifinals.

In singles, Serena Williams stormed past Anastasija Sevastova and Naomi Osaka eliminated last year’s runner-up Madison Keys. In doubles semifinals, we had Ashleigh Barty and Coco Vandeweghe advancing past Katerina Siniakova and Barbora Krejcikova, and Kristina Mladenovic and Timea Babos beating Samantha Stosur and Zhang Shuai.

  1. I’ll say it again: Madison Keys NEEDS A NEW COACH ASAP! She’s got the goods but doesn’t know how to close out matches consistently. No disrespect to Lindsey Davenport, but she’s not the coach to bring Maddie to winning major titles. It was so painful to see her lose in the semi-final. Please follow in Sloane & Naomi’s footsteps and get a new coach, Maddie! Your slam title awaits you, but you must get the right coach to help groom those amazing tennis skills you already have. Your slam title is just around the bend, now go get it before it’s too late!
