The 2019 Nature Valley Classic boasts the strongest ever field that features the world’s best three WTA players at the moment and two more from the Top 10. While world No.3 Karolina Pliskova took part in Saturday’s draw ceremony and we’re still waiting to spot world No.2 Ashleigh Barty, top-ranked Naomi Osaka showed up at the tournament on Sunday, hitting the practice court with coach Jermaine Jenkins. The lens of our photographer also caught world No.10 Aryna Sabalenka during her practice.

Home favorite Johanna Konta was interviewed by the media on Sunday, Heather Watson met the tournament’s ball kids, while Julia Goerges accepted the Porsche Serve Speed Challenge. In the meantime, eight players made it through the second round of qualifying, including Polish teenager Iga Swiatek, who became widely known earlier this month by reaching the fourth round of the French Open.

Everything that happened in Birmingham on Sunday can be seen in the gallery below, courtesy of our great Jimmie48.
