Thursday was a quarterfinal day at the Nature Valley International and our Jimmie48 made it to all the four matches.
Reigning Wimbledon champion Angelique Kerber confidently won a battle of former world number ones against Simona Halep and will next face unseeded Ons Jabeur, as the Tunisian world No.62 battled past Alize Cornet.
The other semifinal pair will feature Kiki Bertens and 2017 Eastbourne champion Karolina Pliskova, as the former dispatched last year’s finalist Aryna Sabalenka, while the latter raced past Ekaterina Alexandrova.
