Venus Williams heads toward winter months in EleVen Flashes collection

For this year’s Asian Swing, Venus Williams‘ sports clothing brand EleVen prepared the Flashes collection, whose bold abstract print is meant to lift up your mood as the days get shorter and colder. Pops of yellow grounded by royals blues make up the print which can be combined by solid or colorblocked items in blue and white. In the first promo image released by EleVen, Venus Williams is wearing the Flashes Verdant Dress, characterized by a halter neck, V-shape on the back, empire waist, flounce skirt, and print contrast binding.

The model in the middle presents the Flashes Tangle Long-Sleeve Top with side tie shirring and Flashes Diverge Skirt, while the model on the right is clad in the Flashes Raceday Tank and a solid dark skirt, the style that Venus chose for this week’s showing at the China Open in Beijing.

A lot of Venus’ tanks feature slim straps and the Flashes collection offers a nice one — the Avail Tank with sweetheart neckline and contrast hip insets, seen below on the model on the left, who paired it with the Flashes Flutter Skirt.

The below Tangle Long-Sleeve Top has you covered, literally and figuratively. This printed top, just as most items in the Flashes collection, offers UPF 50 sun protection and moisture-wicking technology. EleVen also often includes mesh panels to increase air flow and four-way stretch to ensure maximum comfort.

The seven-time Grand Slam champion is expected to launch two more collections by the end of 2019, Iman and Oiseau, as I showed you in my preview of her looks for the second half of this year.

  1. Do we have any info on Venus’ 2020 outfits, or her Australian Open outfit? I’m hoping to see something unique and show stopping for what is rumoured to be her last year on the circuit.

  2. John Aghahowa, I still don’t have info on her 2020 looks. As soon as I see some previews, I’ll share them on my blog.
