We’re in the off-season and tennis players are mostly spending time on the beach, so we have plenty of WTA bikini posts on social media. American Sloane Stephens is the leader in posting beach photos and her variety of high-rise swimsuit models grabbed my attention.
Remember how Victoria Azarenka has recently been dissed for her high-rise black beach style? Well, the 2017 US Open champion Stephens is getting much better feedback at the way she’s pulling off that controversial, ’90s-inspired cut.
The above two photos were taken in Maui, Hawaii, this week and in her captions Stephens advises: “Watch more sunsets than Netflix.”
The WTA star also shared this photo of herself relaxing on a rock, saying:
Me: unbothered, moisturized, in my lane, well-hydrated, flourishing.
Sloane worked a one-piece swimsuit with the stomach cutout during her July’s vacation with fiancé Jozy Altidore.
This time last year, the 26-year-old was also in Maui, Hawaii, and she thoroughly enjoyed being an “island gyal” in sexy bathing suits.
To finish off this Sloane Stephens beach collage, here are some photos from the American’s professional photoshoot for the 2018 edition of the SI Swimsuit Issue in Aruba.
What do you say, are the high-rise bikinis “yay” or “nay”? Personally, I don’t like them, but most of them look good on Sloane’s athletic body.
