After getting engaged on Christmas Eve last year, former Canadian world No.21 Aleksandra Wozniak married her partner on August 8th in Quebec, Canada.
The 32-year-old Wozniak shared the above photo on Instagram, saying: “A magic moment.”
Last November, while wishing her future husband a happy birthday, Wozniak praised his character traits:
I’ve never met a person like you in my whole life. You are such an enthusiastic, sweet, ambitious, devoted person with a big big heart! Always ready to help other humans!
Wozniak has been keeping us updated about her life on social media and she frequently shared photos with her love partner, although she hasn’t revealed information about him.
We also knew that the wedding was coming, as she posted pictures of her bridal shower two weeks ago.
As for her professional life, the WTA star, who retired in December 2018 after 13 years on tour, is officially opening her Aleksandra Wozniak Tennis Academy presented by Aubainerie on Saturday, August 15th. Address: 15 Marziali Street, Bedford, Qc, J0J 1A0.
In a recent interview for the WTA, she recaps the run to her sole WTA title, the 2008 Bank of the West Classic in Stanford, where she defeated Samantha Stosur twice (once in qualifying and once in the quarterfinals), Francesca Schiavone, Serena Williams, and Martion Bartoli.
