Naomi Osaka started her 2021 season this week at the Gippsland Trophy in Melbourne, where she debuted her custom NikeCourt Air Zoom GP Turbo sneakers and a simple white tennis dress.
A lot of fans asked the world No.3 Osaka where they could buy her shoes, but the disappointing information is that they are only available at the Japanese version of Nike’s website. This Naomi Osaka custom model is intended for hard court surfaces.
The shoe style celebrates Osaka’s multi-cultural heritage, just as the Nike apparel collection that bears her new NO logo. The abstract print on the insole uses the silhouettes of Haiti, Japan and the United States. The print’s colors match the orange Swoosh.
The metallic gold circle on the heel features “Naomi” written in Japanese. The lateral side of the sneaker shows a cat holding a tennis racquet — it is actually a stylized version of Maneki-neko, a Japanese cat figurine which is believed to bring good luck. The WTA star’s last name is featured on the medial side.

The 23-year-old Osaka paired the predominantly white shoes with a simple white cap-sleeve dress which has a discreet cutout in the back. We can notice a new patch on her left sleeve by her new sponsor Workday.
After a first-round bye at the Gippsland Trophy, Osaka defeated Alize Cornet in the second round and Katie Boulter in the third to reach the quarterfinals of the WTA 500 tournament and extend her winning streak to 13 matches.
What are the shoes that Osaka is wearing on 2/4/21.
Where are they purchased and how much are they.
Elaine Sigler, what do you mean? This week she’s wearing the shoe model shown in this post. I explained everything.
