As they step on the court at the US Open, American Shelby Rogers and Czech Karolina Pliskova will rock tennis clothes from Fila’s collaboration with Brandon Maxwell, creative director of Brandon Maxwell, a luxury ready-to-wear label.
Fila by Brandon Maxwell blends the sportswear brand’s strong Italian heritage with core components of the American fashion designer’s recognizable aesthetic. Fila’s signature navy and archival green appear alongside the combination of pink and red, which are among Maxwell’s favorite colors.
The 21-piece collection features artful and attention-grabbing details, staple styles and versatile options that can easily transition off the court.
Shelby Rogers presents a classic polo shirt executed with a twist, a cutout at chest, and an elegant skirt with a side pleat, another staple element of Maxwell’s brand. The collection offers three skort styles which include sheer pleated mesh, asymmetrical pleats and box pleats.
The American’s polo/skirt outfit exists in two color variants.
Karolina Pliskova is seen here in the pink version of the collection’s keyhole tank top and the wrap pleated skirt it pairs with. This outfit also exists in navy/green/white. In addition, there are sports bras that match the skorts.
Among the standout styles within the collection is the pink organza coat with detachable section, which we can see here modeled by Pliskova. This lightweight design includes a two-way separating zipper at the waist, with a zip-off bottom that allows for both cropped and long options.
When it comes to dresses, Fila by Brandon Maxwell offers a cutout cami style in pink/navy and a pleated racerback dress in black, as well as an asymmetrical dress in both navy/green and white, with a sheer mesh midriff cutout and a removable spaghetti strap for a one-shoulder option.
A tracksuit with contrast color tipping is available in both navy and white colorways.
Maxwell commented on the collaboration:
Having the opportunity to work with Fila on a tennis collection has been such a thrill. Not only is tennis one of my favorite sports but I’ve always loved seeing what the athletes wear on the court. Creating this collection allowed me to infuse that fashion perspective into these very classic silhouettes. I’m ecstatic about the results!
Fila is really busy rolling out new designs, as at the recent Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati their WTA players wore two new tennis collections: the Deuce Court and Heritage.

The keyhole is terrible. Gives the camera a boob view when the players lean forward, and allows for sunburn. Doesn’t look nice, either. I like the rest of it, though.
Loving everything about this Fila tennis collection! I watched both Pliskova and Rogers’ games and their kits really stood out. The plaid set and pink coat are my favorites!
Shelby should not wear the keyhole, she looks like she’s ready to breastfeed. Not nice on the tennis court totally unsuitable if you have boobs. Linda UK
