Shelby Rogers got engaged to her boyfriend John Slavik and gave us a glimpse into the special moments by showing us photos of him putting a ring on her finger.
According to Sportslulu, Shelby and John started dating in 2019, after a blind date set up by their mutual friends. The couple’s social media photo together was taken in January 2020 on New Year’s Day, when they were on a double date with their friends at Mizner Park in Boca Raton, Florida.
They are currently both 30 years old, although Shelby was born in 1992 and her now-fiancé was born in 1993.

Wearing a romantic orange polkadot dress and white sneakers, the tennis star said “yes” to her partner. “My forever love,” the WTA world No.42 wrote in her Instagram caption.
John Slavik is also an athlete, an American ice hockey player. They are a perfect match as Shelby’s WTA bio states that she would have been a hockey player if she weren’t a tennis player!
Rogers is currently in Charleston where she will compete in both singles and doubles. In doubles she’ll team up with Bethanie Mattek-Sands, which will mark the first time since 2021 that the duo will play together. They’ve received a wildcard.
