Eugenie Bouchard recently delighted her 2.4 million Instagram followers with glimpses from her tropical retreat in the stunning Turks and Caicos Islands. The former Wimbledon finalist soaked in the sun and relaxed ahead of her venture into the world of professional pickleball.

Accompanying her snapshots, Bouchard shared a caption that signaled the end of her vacation: “Okay vacay is over,” embellished with a beach towel and a purple heart emoji. The response from her devoted fanbase was immediate and passionate, with comments like “Looking very hot Genie,” “Slay,” and even “Those legs could bring peace in the Middle East.”
Despite her current hiatus from tennis, the former WTA No.5 has shifted her athletic pursuits towards the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour, a decision publicly disclosed in September last year. Although Bouchard has emphasized her ongoing commitment to tennis and expressed her intention to continue playing both sports this year, she acknowledged that the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) presented her with a “great offer that I really couldn’t refuse.”
On X, Bouchard posted, “Time to get back to work!” This alluded to her upcoming participation in the PPA Masters event in Palm Springs, California. It will be the 29-year-old’s first-ever formal pickleball competition, where she’ll play singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. The Canadian athlete admitted that she’s extremely nervous about this new beginning.
