I’ve just learned that the most probable reason Aryna Sabalenka didn’t play for three weeks after winning the 2024 Australian Open title was to get veneers!
The 25-year-old tennis champion decided to make her teeth more aligned and underwent a dental procedure of getting veneers following her triumph in Melbourne. The revelation sheds new light on her absence from the February 11-17 Qatar TotalEnergies Open in Doha, a tournament she previously won in 2020.
Honestly, I didn’t notice anything, but now that I’ve seen people commenting on her new smile, I can clearly see the difference comparing her teeth at the Australian Open with her latest photos from Dubai. Reportedly, Sabalenka took two weeks off from practice, which may have contributed to her early exit from the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships — after a first-round bye, she lost to Donna Vekic 6-7(5) 6-3 6-0.
I liked Sabalenka’s unique smile before and I’m honestly sad to see her teeth “fixed” at such a young age, but hopefully it benefits her more than just aesthetically. What do you think? Are you sorry to see her signature smile go?
it’s an omen of misfortune to enter a match with new hair, new teeth so you see the result
it Russia we have the same superstition before exam – never cut or dye hair
leaving alone replacing teeth
another succes story 😉
