As New York eagerly awaits the US Open, Citi Taste of Tennis will once again host an evening of exceptional cuisine, lively music, and socializing with tennis stars at Gotham Hall. This year’s event will take place on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 7 PM to 10 PM.
Guests will celebrate the return of tennis to New York by mingling with current players and legends, enjoying delicious food and signature cocktails, and dancing to DJ Irie’s music. Hosted by former player and current Tennis Channel commentator Prakash Amritraj, the event will feature appearances by Alex De Minaur, Katie Boulter, Taylor Fritz, Zheng Qinwen, Alexander Zverev, Caroline Wozniacki, Alex Michelsen, Alycia Parks, and more (players subject to availability). In previous years, the list of tennis celebrities included Nick Kyrgios, Holger Rune, Sloane Stephens, Paula Badosa, Ons Jabeur, Marta Kostyuk, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Belinda Bencic, Venus Williams, and many others.
Andre Agassi, former world No. 1 and International Tennis Hall of Famer, will judge a cooking competition between top chefs and tennis stars. The lineup of chefs includes Antonio Bachour, a two-time World’s Best Pastry Chef, and Mitsuharu “Micha” Tsumura, named Best Chef in Peru in 2023 and recently awarded The Best Restaurant in South America 2024 with his restaurant currently ranked 5th best in the world.
