While recovering from a hamstring injury sustained at Wimbledon, Madison Keys is using her newfound free time to renovate her home and prepare her wedding outfits.
The world No.14 Keys, one of five American WTA players ranked inside Top 15 this week, was forced to retire at 5-5 in the third set against eventual runner-up Jasmine Paolini during the fourth round of Wimbledon. The injury sustained in that match and her subsequent retirement marked one of Keys’ toughest moments on the court. Fortunately, her recovery is progressing well. She feels much better and shared in her latest Instagram update: “Luckily the injury wasn’t too severe so hopefully I’ll be back soon.”
Besides updating us on her health while making coffee, Keys also shared insights into her home renovation: “Wallpaper is installed in the laundry room and the guest bathroom only has to be painted and then both of those rooms will be done. The master bathroom still needs to have sealing, counters installed and plumbing, but it feels like we’re close to being done there too.”

Most importantly, Keys mentioned her wedding, revealing that she has gotten her wedding dresses. While she didn’t provide exact details about the date and venue, we can assume the big day is approaching.
Madison Keys got engaged last March to her long-time partner, fellow tennis player Bjorn Fratangelo. The couple first made their relationship Instagram official in December 2017, a few months after Madison reached her maiden and only Grand Slam final at the US Open.
Madison and Bjorn had known each other long before they started dating, having trained at the same facility in Florida and been part of the same friend group.
