After years of enjoying a quiet family life away from the spotlight, former world No. 1 Jelena Jankovic is officially back in the public eye — and it looks like we’ll be seeing much more of her in the future. Jankovic has accepted a role as an ambassador for Specialized EXPO 2027, a major international event that her hometown of Belgrade will host next year.

On Wednesday, Jankovic met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, formally marking the beginning of her role as an EXPO 2027 brand ambassador. And she dressed perfectly for the occasion.
The former tennis star opted for a sophisticated all-black look, pairing black closed-toe stiletto heels with a black midi Valentino dress featuring three subtle bows on the front, along with elegant lace sleeves and a lace neckline. She completed the look with an elegant updo, with soft waves framing her face.
Jankovic also brought a special gift for the president: a Prince tennis racquet.
EXPO 2027 is a three-month international exhibition taking place in Belgrade from May 15 to August 15, 2027. More than 140 countries are set to participate in the World Fair, with the Serbian capital preparing to welcome millions of visitors.
Jankovic joins a star-studded group of EXPO 2027 ambassadors, including Usain Bolt, an Olympic sprinter; Jackie Chan, a Hollywood actor and martial artist; and Lin Dan, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and badminton legend.
