Less than a month ago Venus Williams‘ activewear brand EleVen launched the Starlet collection and now we’re already moving on to the Monet Modern collection! Since the tennis season is winding down, the Grand Slam champion is really invested in using her time off to boost her fashion business.
After the peaceful vibe of the Starlet collection, EleVen is switching to vibrant orange, dark blue and pink, combined with a bold abstract print.
In the first promo photo released on Instagram, we can see Venus in the Monet Modern Verdant Dress, a halter-neck style with contrast band below bust and above hem. The dress also has an outstanding V-back design.
The blond model in the promo image is wearing the orange Raceday Tank and Monet Modern Rundown Short, while the model on Venus’ right showcases the Unfettered Tank and Moxie Legging. The Unfettered Tank is especially cute with its orange side tie at waistband and floating interior sports bra.
It’s a pity that we probably won’t see this collection in action on the court. I’m pretty sure Venus will have something new ready for the start of the 2019 season.
Her designs never excites, some weird patterns n 3 different colors, thats it.
She should focus more on the shape of the outfits rather than patterns of the outfits, otherwise its just recycling designs.
Ric, the cuts of EleVen outfits do change, but I agree that the concept more or less stays the same and the biggest difference is always in prints. Nike and Adidas do a much better job in changing their designs in the core through the seasons.
I love the print and colors!!
