Aryna Sabalenka‘s rumored new boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis, founder of Oakberry, was spotted in the stands as she played the final of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome against Iga Swiatek.
Sabalenka was previously in a long-term relationship with Belarusian ice-hockey player Konstantin Koltsov. Shortly after their breakup earlier this year, Koltsov tragically died at the age of 42 in Miami, after falling off a high-rise hotel. Despite the dust barely settling on this tragedy that happened in March, already in April rumors began swirling that Sabalenka was seen with a new boyfriend, the founder of Oakberry, a company specializing in acai products. This company had announced its partnership with Sabalenka earlier in the year.
At last month’s Mutua Madrid Open, rumors swirled as the world No.2 Sabalenka was seen hugging a man who was identified as Frangulis. Since then, he has been spotted supporting her from the stands, including during the finals of both the Madrid and Rome tournaments, where she competed against the world No.1, Swiatek.
Frangulis was born and raised in Brazil. He founded Oakberry in December 2016. The company offers a range of acai bowls, smoothies, and other treats made with acai berries, which are known for their antioxidant properties and potential health benefits. Oakberry has gained popularity for its healthy and delicious offerings, particularly among health-conscious consumers and those looking for a refreshing and nutritious snack or meal option.
UPDATE: Sabalenka and Frangulis made their relationship official by posting photos of them together, hugging and holding hands in Italy.
