Ana Ivanovic is set to make a rare on-court appearance this spring, joining fellow tennis legend Martina Hingis for an exhibition match at the Gonet Geneva Open on Sunday, May 18, as the ATP 250 tournament celebrates its 10th anniversary.

To mark a decade of world-class tennis, the organizers are hosting a mixed doubles exhibition match, set to begin at 17:30 on the central court of the Parc des Eaux-Vives. Fans can look forward to an exciting clash featuring Ivanovic, the 2008 Roland Garros champion, and Hingis, former world number one and five-time Grand Slam singles winner. Their partners for the occasion will be Henri Leconte, a past tournament champion, and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, runner-up at the 2008 Australian Open.

The celebrations won’t end on the court. Following the tennis action, guests are invited to a gala dinner at the exclusive Château VIP, starting at 19:00 on May 18, which will include a charity auction, bringing together sport, style, and philanthropy.

Individual tickets for the exhibition and gala are priced at 500 CHF + VAT, while a table for six costs 2,700 CHF + VAT. For more information, visit the Gormet Geneva Open website.

Ivanovic, who retired from professional tennis in 2016, has since embraced family life and is now a mother of three boys. While she keeps a low profile in the tennis world, she remains active on social media. Recently, however, a photo she shared from the Acropolis in Athens stirred controversy. As mass protests unfolded in both Greece and her home country of Serbia, a lot of followers criticized her for appearing detached from current events. “Did you by any chance notice any people… protesting?” asked one commenter, while another added, “Reality check, do you watch the news?”
