The media frenzy surrounding the rumored divorce of Ana Ivanovic and Bastian Schweinsteiger just got even more intense. For weeks, neither side has come forward to deny the whispers of a split — fueling speculation that their fairytale marriage may have truly come to an end. But just when it seemed all hope was lost, a surprising twist has reignited talk of reconciliation. After a storm of heartbreak rumors, a couple of signs are now pointing to a possible rekindling of love between the Serbian tennis star and the German football player.

Speculations of a love triangle: Was Bastian caught between Ana and Esther?

For weeks, tabloids and social media were ablaze with speculation: Was the Ivanovic-Schweinsteiger marriage falling apart? The whispers grew louder when rumors surfaced that Esther Sedlaczek — Bastian’s close colleague — may have played a role in the alleged breakup. Fueling these speculations was their public behavior — several intriguing statements from both sides, as well as Bastian’s invitation to the TV host to go on vacation together. Tensions peaked after a source close to the Ivanovic family in Belgrade revealed that it was Bastian who had initiated the divorce.

Bastian unfollows Esther on Instagram

Not long after the drama erupted online, eagle-eyed fans noticed another twist:
Bastian had unfollowed Esther on Instagram — a move many interpreted as Ana regaining her ground in their relationship. Esther, on the other hand, follows both Ana and Bastian. Ana does not follow Esther. Bastian still follows Ana.

Now the ring is back!

In a photo posted most recently, Bastian Schweinsteiger was spotted proudly wearing his wedding ring once again. Just ten days ago, he was seen ringless. Now, the symbol of his marriage to Ana is back on his finger — sparking headlines that the couple may have reconciled after all.

Ana and Bastian share three children and over eight years of marriage. Hopefully their love has weathered the storm.

Ana at the Madrid Open

Since the divorce rumors began, Ana made her first public appearance last Thursday at the Mutua Madrid Open. On Instagram she posted a photo with Daniela Hantuchova. When asked about her private life, she only mentioned her children — not Bastian. In May, she is scheduled to play an exhibition with Martina Hingis in Geneva.
