World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is back to defend her US Open title this fortnight, wielding the Wilson Blade 98 16×19 v9 Fighter! While it shares the same specs and performance as the standard Blade, this limited-edition version sports a striking flame-inspired design, capturing Sabalenka’s power and intensity in every swing.

As Sabalenka stepped onto the court for her first-round match against Rebeka Masarova, she cleared up the confusion surrounding her outfit choice by appearing in the white version of the glamorous Nike Women’s Fall Slam 2 Dress. The mix-up arose because everyone assumed the dress had been custom-made for her, only for qualifier Oksana Selekhmeteva to wear it twice before the main draw even began.

The US Open top seed rounded out her equipment with a flame-themed Wilson Blade racquet, embodying her fierce on-court persona and showcasing her signature tiger emblem on the throat. Built with the same precision and power that fuels her game, this special cosmetic brings bold energy to the Blade’s iconic performance. Although Sabalenka officially endorses the Blade 98 (18×20), the Fighter Edition is available exclusively with the 16×19 string pattern.

The ninth iteration of this fan-favorite player’s racquet comes equipped with StableFeel technology, which introduces a slightly firmer construction for greater stability and easier access to power. The result is enhanced precision and a more consistent response, empowering players to strike with confidence and take on their most ambitious shots.

Sabalenka won her first-round match against Rebeka Masarova 7-5 6-1 and is set to face Polina Kudermetova in the second round at the US Open.
