Shining at the majors, simple elsewhere: A look at all of Sabalenka’s 2025 Nike dresses

We’re kicking off this year’s Fashion Retrospections with a complete look at Aryna Sabalenka’s 2025 Nike apparel. We’ll explore what the world No. 1 wore on the court across the 16 tournaments she played this past season.

The Belarusian started the year with a triumph at the Brisbane International, lifting the trophy in a light purple tank featuring distinctive narrow, elongated cutouts on the upper back, paired with matching shorts.

At the Australian Open, Sabalenka finished runner-up wearing a vibrant yellow Nike Spring Melbourne Dress, distinguished by its unique strappy overlay on the top.

Continuing the eye-catching yellow theme, Sabalenka opted for separates in Doha and Dubai. She wore the Nike Spring Melbourne Tank, a classic racerback design with a subtle print adding texture, while contrasting light accents along the armholes and shoulders enhanced its visual appeal. The look was completed with the Nike Spring Melbourne Skort, featuring a wrap-front skirt with shorts at the back.

At Indian Wells and Miami, Sabalenka opted for minimalist red separates, pairing the Nike Spring Advantage Tank with the slightly darker Nike Spring Advantage Ace Skirt.

At the European clay-court tournaments, the WTA star sported a purple ensemble, pairing the Nike Summer Advantage Tank with the Nike Summer Advantage Ace Skirt—echoing the style of her Indian Wells and Miami separates.

At Roland Garros, Sabalenka wore a turquoise (‘Dusty Cactus’) Nike Summer Slam Dress, a style available to the public. The design featured a classic racerback silhouette with a bold back cutout and sheer mesh inserts on a flouncy skirt, while contrast trim and a striped waistband added playful pops of color.

Even while competing under a neutral flag, the Belarusian subtly nodded to her roots with asymmetrical red and green laces on her shoes.

At Wimbledon, the 27-year-old’s Nike Summer London Dress featured a layered racerback with keyhole cutouts and a skirt pleated only at the back hem.

In Cincinnati, the tennis ace sported a classic white tank, the Nike Core Advantage Tank with a NikeCourt logo, paired with a mint-green Nike Fall Advantage Ace Skirt.

Aryna Sabalenka's New York Dress

During the US Open fortnight, the fashionable athlete alternated between black and white versions of the glamorous Nike Fall Slam 2 Dress, defined by dramatic V-cut panels at the waist that sweep into an open back, accented with shimmering trim and contrasting piping. She completed her look with a statement-making cosmic silver jacket, while her shoes added a personal touch with a bold tiger emblem symbolizing her trademark ferocity.

At the WTA Finals in Riyadh, we saw a striking red version of the same dress.

The eventual WTA Finals runner-up completed her look with customized Nike Zoom Vapor 12s, featuring her signature tiger logo.

It’s clear that Sabalenka enjoys staying on trend both on and off the court. As the dominant world No. 1 throughout 2025, her style naturally invites extra scrutiny. Were her looks worthy of her status at the top of the game? In my view, her Grand Slam outfits delivered. Outside the majors, however, her looks were very basic, with the standout exception of those striking yellow separates she wore in Doha and Dubai.
