Maria Sharapova likely to miss the rest of the season

We can all feel the absence of Maria Sharapova at the US Open, it’s a huge loss for the tournament, and now I’m reading she’s likely to miss the rest of the season because of her shoulder injury.

The Russian has two tears in her right shoulder and doctor ordered her not to hit a tennis ball for four weeks.

The world number five is expected to spend most of the fall rehabilitating in Arizona.

It’s disappointing news but I’m not worried about Masha, she’ll always get the best out of a bad situation.
