Defending champion and eighth seed Agnieszka Radwanska fell to Virginie Razzano 7-6(5) 7-5 in the quarterfinals of the AEGON International.
Razzano had upset top seed Elena Dementieva in the second round, and in the match against Radwanska she was never behind in either set.
The world No.25 Razzano will face Marion Bartoli in the semifinals. Bartoli has reached her third straight semifinal in Eastbourne, beating Anabel Medina Garrigues 6-1 6-4.
The other semifinal will feature sixth seed Caroline Wozniacki, the only seed left in the women’s draw, and Aleksandra Wozniak. Both players had straightforward wins in the quarters.
Wozniacki has had no trouble with Wozniak so far, having lost only five games in two matches they played, but Wozniak has had one of her greatest weeks in Eastbourne, including her career-best win over world No.5 and champion at recent Roland Garros Svetlana Kuznetsova in the second round.
