Jelena Dokic will warm-up for the 2010 Australian Open, hopefully equally successful for her as the last one, at the January 8-16 Moorilla Hobart International.
At the 2009 Australian Open the former world No.4 reached the quarterfinals as a wildcard and 187th-ranked player, defeating three seeded players on the way. Since that unprecedented success Dokic hasn’t made such major headlines concerning her on-court results, but she did win two ITF tournaments, in Athens (Greece) in September and Poitiers (France) in October.

LuLinQa, hahah thanks for telling me. I guess time passes quickly for me. 😛
As good a player as Dokic is, I don’t think she will repeat that great run she had this year. I hope she does, but the likelihood is that she won’t. It’s a shame because her ranking will really suffer if that does happen.
like for everybody Marija 🙂 Can I ask you where are you from ? Cause your name sounds like Russian or Serbian 🙂
Bróna, quite possible, such surprises don’t happen all the time.
LuLinQa, of course you can ask. Yes, I’m from Novi Sad, Serbia. You can see more info about me here: https://womenstennisblog.com/about/
I hope she does well.I love surprises :0) I think new motivation can help her go places in 2010. Maybe even a major… who knows. Kim did it and only few would predict that, wouldn’t they?
I am amazed how nice site you are making 🙂 I thought you have some colleagues 🙂 I am from Slovakia like Dominika Cibulkova 🙂 and I was wondering why you put Ana´s and JJ´s signed photos for the competition 🙂
Marine, we all love surprises, and you know why, because they don’t happen often. 🙂 I would be thrilled for Dokic to win a major in 2010, but I don’t think that’s likely.
LuLinQa, thank you very much. I’m the only one in charge of this site. I was in Bratislava for a few hours this spring. 🙂 I put the autographs for competition because I had them and wanted to make my readers happy. I will have more things to give away in the future, much more valuable. Stay tuned. 😉
Yeah, Blava, like we calls it is nice. I am not from there but I have some family there so 😀 I want to visit Serbia sometimes 🙂 I am looking forward for next news 🙂
I hope you’ll visit Serbia at some point. 😉
I want to know , if you can write about dokic’s dress (lacoste), were can I bought it, or whatever you know about it… thanks ¡¡:).
Marina Moreno, I won’t write about Dokic’s dress only because she’s already out of the tournament. Hm, I was trying to find the dress online, but couldn’t. All I found was this http://shopapparel.lacoste.com/b/Women-Shop-by-Category-Tennis/492234011/page/-1/sort/-launch-date
Can anyone else help?
thak you very much ¡¡¡¡ 🙂
