In the Sunday’s final of the the KDB Korea Opentop seed Agnieszka Radwanska overcame third seed Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in a three-setter lasting two hours and 45 minutes. Now Radwanska is leading their head-to-head record 3-1. This is the 24-year-old’s third WTA title this season and the 13th of her career. Both her previous this year’s titles came in January, at Auckland and Sydney.

The first set of the KDB Korea Open final was close but Pavlyuchenkova managed to end it with a tiebreak 7-6(6). The other two sets weren’t so dramatic. The Pole stepped up and closed the second and third sets with 6-3 6-4, making the final her victory. The players were quite even in the match, but Pavlyuchenkova made a lot of double faults, ten to Radwanska’s one, and the Pole managed to exploit them. (photo: © Neal Trousdale)
