WTA’s crème de la crème have safely arrived to Istanbul to compete for the prestigious season-ending Championships trophy and big money. Today the elite eight dressed up for the draw ceremony, which revealed the destiny of players in the first, round-robin stage of the competition. Angelique Kerber was the only one wearing pants, by the way, while Jelena Jankovic enjoyed showing her perfect legs.

Caroline Wozniacki, who won her first title of the season today in Luxembourg, is the first alternate, and Sloane Stephens, who lost in the quarterfinals of Luxembourg, is the second alternate.
This year’s edition of the WTA Championships has the prize money of $6,000,000 and this is the third and final year in Istanbul. Singapore will host the event from 2014 to 2018.
