Kim Clijsters has never been an average mother of two. Running to three Grand Slam titles after giving birth to her first child more than proves that, and now even in her retirement and with a three-month old son to care for, Kim is hitting the courts and winning.
The Belgian organized the Kim Clijsters Invitational exhibition event in Antwerp on Wednesday and gathered Ana Ivanovic, Kirsten Flipkens, Xavier Malisse and Henri Leconte.
Prior to the show, Ivanovic and Clijsters interviewed each other, as the Serb evidenced on her new Instagram profile, and the footage will be aired on CNN. In match play, Flipkens defeated Ivanovic 3-6 6-3 10-7 and then the team of Clijsters and Malisse beat Flipkens and Leconte 7-5 6-2. The event also featured a farewell to Malisse, who received a chocolate racquet.
