Former British top-ranked women’s tennis player Anne Keothavong married Andrew Bretherton in February this year and now the couple has welcomed their first child, a baby daughter. Anne shared her excitement on Twitter by saying:
Our best achievement to date. Ava arrived yesterday a little earlier than expected and we couldn’t be happier.
Anne has not disappeared from the tennis world since her retirement and has been regularly commenting on daily happenings in the sport, while she also made sure we were updated about the progress of her pregnancy by posting baby bump pics from time to time.
