With nothing but speed in mind, Adidas created the Adizero Ubersonic 2 tennis shoe, which prides itself on turning lightweight technology into heavyweight performance. There are both women’s and men’s models, while the ladies’ shoe will be promoted by Ana Ivanovic, pardon, Schweinsteiger.
The Adizero Ubersonic 2 footwear range is made of advanced materials that save weight and add performance at the same time, while also providing ultimate comfort and fit without compromising stability in cross-court sprints.
Adidas has a plethora of fancy-named technologies incorporated in the shoe (UNI-TONGUE, SPRINTFRAME, ADITUFF 180, ADIWEAR, 3D TORSION), but bottom line is that the footwear gives support, durability, and comfort to dynamic and aggressive players.
In the below official promo image we can also have a glimpse at adidas’ new tennis clothes, in particular the Fall Pro Skort Leggings — yes, the asymmetrically printed leggings come together with a skirt! The collection’s Adidas Fall Club Racer Tank is also already available, but I’ll cover the US Open clothes in more detail in the coming weeks.
I just have to mention that the regular Adidas line is adopting Stella McCartney’s signature perforations, as the printed Adidas Fall Pro Short includes a white woven mesh layer. So cute!
