Monday at the 2016 WTA Finals in Singapore had plenty of exciting play in store as the first two White Group matches delivered a total of six sets of quality tennis.
Following Svetlana Kuznetsova’s major victory over 2015 WTA Finals champion Agnieszka Radwanska, the duel between Garbine Muguruza and Karolina Pliskova extended all the way into the early morning hours as Pliskova won the match at 1:25 AM local time.
