Can the 2020 tennis season get any worse? While the coronavirus pandemic put a months-long gap in the regular tennis schedule, the UTR Pro Match Series, a local effort to treat fans with some professional play via international broadcast, was canceled on the third and final day because of bad weather.

American world No.19 Alison Riske had reached the final on Day 2 of the event and on Sunday the American was supposed to play the championship match against the winner of the encounter between Ajla Tomljanovic or Danielle Collins, which was scheduled to be finished before the final as thunderstorms forced it to be cancelled in the third set a day earlier. However, heavy rain and a flood warning on Sunday forced the organizers to cancel the remainder of the UTR Pro Match Series in West Palm Beach, Florida and the tournament finished without awarding a winner.

When will we see light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to tennis this year?
