At the New York Fashion Week in February this year Naomi Osaka presented the Fall/Winter 2020 collection that she designed a few pieces of in collaboration with Japanese designer Hanako Maeda and her ADEAM fashion label. The three-time Grand Slam champion has now informed us that the clothes are available for purchase at adeam.com.

The Japanese WTA star announced the news on social media:
My heart is racing so much because, guess what, the Adeam x Naomi Osaka collection just went live! This is something that I’ve been really excited to share and I’m so happy it’s here and I get to share it with everyone!

Both Naomi and Hanako are Japanese women who spent a considerable portion of their lives in New York. Their aesthetic derives from the multifaced culture in Japan — traditional elements can be seen in the origami draping and architectural seams, while the more modern Harajuku girl “kawaii” style is offered in the ruffled lace and soft feminine knits.

The collection is targeted at modern women who have traveled the world.
Naomi Osaka was a huge fan of ADEAM before she started collaborating with the brand. The fact that the tennis star is designing clothing now is not such a surprise, as she’s always been interested in fashion and she’s been sketching from her youth during her pastime.
