The 2021 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix begins on Monday, but photographer Jimmie48 is already there, as well as a number of WTA players who are getting ready for the prestigious claycourt tournament.

World No.1 Ashleigh Barty hit the court in Stuttgart on Friday, ahead of her first-ever appearance at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.

Maria Sakkari is also playing this WTA 500 tournament for the first time.

Andrea Petkovic was busy not only practicing with Belinda Bencic, but the German was also helping with the tennis court maintenance.

Belinda Bencic’s repertoire of shots included tweeners.

Players were in good mood on Friday, happy to see our photographer on the court. Here’s Bethanie Mattek-Sands saying hi with a wide smile.

Petra Kvitova is back in Stuttgart, as the defending champion. The Czech won the event in 2019. Last season the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

What we’ll be seeing a lot during the tournament: the Porsche Taycan Turbo S.
