Carla Suarez Navarro has always had a smile on her face, even when she was undergoing chemotherapy. The Spanish tennis player’s positive attitude is now grounded in good news as cancer is a thing of the past in her life.

Wearing a T-shirt that says “Stronger than cancer”, the 32-year-old Suarez Navarro informed the tennis community that she’s officially completed treatment and eradicated Hodgkin lymphoma:

Another step forward. Today I finished my treatment and overcame Hodgkin lymphoma.

Thanks to all for your warm messages. Every word of support gave me strength during the past few months. Red heart

All my gratitude to healthcare professionals who take care of us every day. I’M CURED!

Karolina Pliskova, Belinda Bencic, Donna Vekic, Maria Sharapova, Alize Cornet, Victoria Azarenka, Chris Evert, Madison Keys, and Kim Clijsters all expressed how happy they are to hear that Carla is healthy again.

The good news is coming seven and a half months after Carla revealed her diagnosis in a video message from a hospital.
