Retired WTA player Flavia Pennetta has announced that she will become a mom for the third time.

After an illustrious career that included a total of 28 women’s singles and doubles titles, one of which was the 2015 US Open singles triumph, Flavia replaced her busy tennis life with a 24/7 mom job. Her husband Fabio Fognini is still on tour (his current ranking is No.31), while the 39-year-old Flavia is in Italy, taking care of their growing family.

Their first child, a baby boy Federico, was born in May 2017, while in December 2019 they welcomed a daughter named Farah. We still don’t know the sex of baby number three, but we can be pretty sure that the parents are already thinking of girl and boy names that begin with “F.”

The former doubles world No.1 announced the happy news on Instagram, showing her two children kissing her pregnancy belly.
