Venus Williams and Caroline Wozniacki were celebrities from the tennis world at the 2022 Met Gala themed “In America: An Anthology of Fashion.” Organised by fashion magazine Vogue, the event is an annual fundraising gala held for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.
Seven-time major champion Venus Williams wore Chloé by Gabriela Hearst. The main fabrics for Williams’ corset and black tuxedo suit came from existing Chloé stock, no new materials were ordered. The American’s hairstyle included extra long braids.
Retired WTA star Caroline Wozniacki attended this much-loved annual celebration of fashion in New York City with her husband David Lee. The designer behind the Dane’s look was Christian Siriano. The former Grand Slam champion and world No.1 walked the red carpet in a navy floor-length gown exposing her athletic abs. The figure-flattering dress is adorned with contrasting light blue puff sleeves and a cape-like structure on the back.
Wozniacki’s hairstyle was a plaited bun on top of her head. Her makeup included pearls and crystals around her blue eyes.
