Retired WTA star Julia Goerges has been dating Dutch doubles player Wesley Koolhof for the last couple of years. This past week, they enjoyed romance time in the picturesque Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt, an organic farm and luxury wellness resort in Austria.
The tennis couple spent a relaxed holiday in this five-star vacation spot that provided breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and shared their experiences in Instagram stories.
Former world No.9 Julia Goerges of Germany quit playing professional tennis in October 2020. The 34-year-old must be thriving in her retirement, as in one interview she stated:
I knew that at some point it’s also nice to step away and not be in the spotlight all the time. I’d rather be at home, staying in pajamas every day and no one sees me.

Her boyfriend, on the other hand, is enjoying the best period of his career. Wesley Koolhof has recently climbed to the No.1 ATP doubles ranking, alongside his doubles partner Nael Skupski. When Koolhof achieved this milestone, Goerges called him her “all-time number one” and wrote on Instagram:
I know how much you worked for it, how much you improved the last few years and went outside of your comfort zone to overcome obstacles. I am so happy for you and I am proud of you every day in our life together. It is great to see you growing day by day, and I can’t wait to see what you do next!
