Ashleigh Barty announced that she is pregnant with her first child!
The 26-year-old Barty shared the news on Instagram. The retired three-time Grand Slam champion posted a photo of her dog Origi laying next to white baby sneakers and saying:
2023 set to be the best year yet. We are so excited for our new adventure. Origi already the protective big sister.
In July 2022, Barty married her long-time partner Garry Kissick. It was a small-scale wedding in Queensland, Australia.
The former world No.1 will rejoin the WTA circuit as Olivia Gadecki’s mentor at the upcoming Australian Open. On Wednesday we saw her at the United Cup in Brisbane as she posed for photographer Jimmie48 together with current WTA No.1 Iga Swiatek.
