Coco Gauff is introducing the first off-court lifestyle version of her New Balance CG1 shoe. The design is inspired by the young American’s favorite sport, as the color and feel of the sneaker greatly resemble tennis balls.

Just as previous CG1s, the silhouette is inspired by the ’90s basketball sneakers. When it comes to the color and feel, this latest release, dubbed the Fuzzy Ace, stands out from the previous colorful models by its dominant neon yellow hue, hairy suede upper and white leather details — all features meant to mimic the look, feel and structure of tennis balls.

The Coco CG1 Fuzzy Ace is being launched today, March 31. The first New Balance shoe created in collaboration with the WTA star was released in summer 2022. Since then, more than half a dozen different colorways hit retail.
