Coco Gauff has officially parted ways with her longtime agency and is stepping into a new chapter by launching her own management firm, Coco Gauff Enterprises. In an announcement posted to social media, the American explained that the decision is a pivotal move in her quest to “take greater ownership” of her tennis career as she continues to grow “as an athlete, entrepreneur, and changemaker.”

At just 21 years old, Gauff has already amassed an impressive list of accomplishments in the tennis world. From her breakout moment at 15, when she stunned Venus Williams in the first round of Wimbledon in 2019, to her remarkable 2023 US Open victory, Gauff has quickly established herself as one of tennis’s brightest stars. Yet, her aspirations stretch far beyond the sport itself.

“From the moment I picked up a tennis racquet, I’ve always believed my purpose extended far beyond the court,” the Floridian shared in a statement. “Today I’m thrilled to announce the launch of Coco Gauff Enterprises, a venture that reflects my passion for making an impact — not just in tennis, but in business, philantropy and beyond.”

This new move marks the end of Gauff’s partnership with Team 8, the management company co-founded by ATP legend Roger Federer and his agent Tony Godsick. Now, with the launch of Coco Gauff Enterprises, Gauff will be represented and supported by WME, an agency known for its extensive roster of sports stars, including retired tennis icon Serena Williams. Gauff emphasized that this shift will allow her to take full control of her career while benefiting from the vision and resources WME offers to maximize her future opportunities.
