Anastasia Potapova is not only starting the 2026 season with a new citizenship, having recently switched from Russia to Austria, but is also entering the new year with a new apparel sponsor, moving from Nike to Wilson.

The 24-year-old Potapova opened the new season at the Brisbane International, recording a first-round victory with a 7-5 4-6 6-4 win over Daria Kasatkina, another Russian-born player who has recently begun representing a different country—Australia.
The world No. 50 debuted her Wilson collaboration at the WTA 500 tournament in Brisbane, wearing a burgundy kit featuring a brami and a pleated skirt with a white horizontal contrast stripe along the hem.
Oh and Potapova to Wilson as well!

As fewer and fewer WTA players wear Nike on the tennis court, with the brand seemingly scaling back its presence in the sport, Wilson continues to grow its roster, adding Potapova to Marta Kostyuk, Victoria Mboko, Alycia Parks, and Peyton Stearns. While the size of the group is not the main point, Wilson stood out last year for having some of the most beautiful apparel designs on tour.
