Ivanovic eases past Dushevina at the US Open

Fifth seed Ana Ivanovic of Serbia reached the fourth round of the US Open with a quick 6-1 6-3 victory over Russian Vera Dushevina, ranked 58th in the world. Frankly speaking, the match was everything but thrilling and unpredictable.

As you probably already know a lot about Ivanovic’s tennis results and titles, I won’t mention them now, but I will remind you that Dushevina played one final this year. At the Nordic Light Open in Stockholm she lost to Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland.

Ana’s next opponent at the US Open will be known in a few hours, and it will be either seed No.12 Venus Williams, or seed No.21 Alona Bondarenko.
