It was the first meeting between world No.1 Caroline Wozniacki and Bojana Jovanovski, and even though the young Serbian star provided resistance, it was the favorite Wozniacki that advanced to the third round of the Madrid Open with a 6-4 6-4 victory.
Jovanovski was the first to take lead, 3-1 in the first set, but Wozniacki answered with two breaks in that set and three in the second set. The Dane saved eight of the 11 break points she faced. After the match, Wozniacki tweeted that it was not her best game, but she was happy to get through.

I watched the match, and Caroline was really lucky. While playing with this type of players, it is very easy to see her game has many flaws. If Bojana didn’t miss some clear shots and made stupid mistakes on break points, who knows what would happen. Caro can get many balls, but against hard hitters in mood (like Goerges and Petkovic this year) her game just breaks apart.
Still no one can beat RAFAEL NADAL for being the NO.1 tennis player in the world. He topples down ANDY MURRAY in the recent game. Nadal has won 213 of his 229 competitive matches on the surface and heads into this week’s Madrid Open as the defending champion. Actually I watched the game through texting WEEKEND to 21534 for the access of a certain website that enables me to watch this game. (just sharing…) Try watching the game and make a comment here how NADAL made to win against MURRAY..
I hope that Goerges and Safina give us a good game. May the best girl win and face Wozniacki in Madrid! http://www.tennisround.com
If Caro have to fight against Julia, she won’t have any chance! Go Julia!
