On the grass courts of the International-level AEGON Classic in Birmingham, experienced Daniela Hantuchova won her sixth career title in her 15th final, beating 16-year-old Donna Vekic, who was looking for her maiden title in her second final.

In the first round Hantuchova defeated Casey Dellacqua, then seventh seed Laura Robson and twelfth seed Kristina Mladenovic, before surviving two tough matches against seed No.16 Francesca Schiavone and Alison Riske, which together lasted five and a half hours, but no British rain, injury scare or threatening deficit could beat Hantuchova’s desire to return to the top and the Slovak set up a premier meeting with the young Croat, who enjoyed a terrific week, and got past her 7-6(5) 6-4. 2. Kartik, I think she looks good :/ Beach look 🙂 Certainly the photographer Ralf Reinecke knows more about it 🙂 The photo was taken at the Generali Ladies Linz last year, that’s what I know.

  3. Unexpected. The oldies are doing really well this year! Together with JJ they probably will get to the little year-end championships.
