Martina Hingis allegedly commits crime against estranged husband Thibault Hutin, her camp says it’s “total nonsense”

Martina Hingis married French showjumper Thibault Hutin in December 2010, after less than a year of dating, and this summer Thibault talked trash of Martina for the press, saying how he caught her cheating, then forgave her, but then caught her once again, and calling her a serial adulteress he decided to leave the relationship.

Martina has a very personal conception of morality. She has always been like that; I think she has always been unfaithful to her boyfriends,” Hutin, six years Hingis’ junior, told Blick in July.

Now their relationship is getting another twist, as Hutin accused the tennis legend of a violent confrontation that allegedly happened on Monday, which also included Hingis’ mother.

“In the course of [the dispute] Martina and her mother, Melanie Molitor, pounced on me, beat me and scratched [me],” Hutin told Blick, adding that Mario Widmer, the longtime boyfriend of Hingis’ mother, joined in on the assault, striking him in the head with a DVD player.

According to Matt Cronin of TennisReporters.netthe “Hingis camp” referred to the story as “total nonsense”.

Moreover, Thibault’s passport and credit cards were reportedly missing after the crowd left the apartment. Strange.

Hingis has recently withdrawn from the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo citing personal reasons, despite having been given a wildcard doubles entry. However, she’s been spotted in the stands of the tournament, as a spectator, and will take part in a 30th anniversary celebration for the tournament. (source: IBT Media)
