While we’re enjoying the tennis fashion spectacle at the Australian Open, there are new high-quality brands which we can’t wait to see on WTA players and one of them is certainly L’Etoile Sport, which finds its inspiration in the 1920s glamor and the style of French tennis player Suzanne Lenglen. The L’Etoile Sport spring/summer 2014 collection is out and let’s see how the brand continues to deliver what modern, fashion-forward women want on and off the tennis court.

L'Etoile Sport - spring summer 2014 -1

Featuring sensual and strong feminine silhouettes, the spring/summer 2014 collection offers comfortable luxury separates. Using dusty pink for a bit of serenity and grey to ground the collection in its urban inspiration, the new pieces are sure to complement a fast-paced and active life.

T-shirts, tanks, polos, lace trim shorts and flare and pleated skorts dominate the collection. The Pique Dress with Lace Trim (shown above) is both feminine and sensual and flatters everybody. For an off the court look, the Cashmere Sweater or Pointelle Cashmere Hoodie are perfect. Favorite L’Etoile Sport silhouettes also return in this new collection.

“I never get tired of our classic pleated skort,” says co-founder and creative director, Yesim Philip. “Why change what’s working?”

Spring/summer 2014 skort styles come in different luxury fabrics like textured pique and textured lace. If you want to give it a fun twist, wear it with a tank or for a preppy look, try it with polo.
