I couldn’t believe it when I read it at the WTA’s official website that Jovana Jaksic went all the way to the final of the ITF tournament in Phoenix, Arizona, without dropping a set and then managed to save stunning 14 match points to win her 14th ITF title! The drama happened against Tamira Paszek, once a world No.26, and Jaksic was triumphant with a 4-6 7-6(13) 7-5 scoreline.

The 20-year-old Jaksic, who considers her best tennis memory her first WTA tournament at Monterrey in 2013, is at No.146 the fifth ranked Serbian player, after Jelena Jankovic, Ana Ivanovic, Bojana Jovanovski and Vesna Dolonc.
